Biking fun for the whole family

In Trysil, we believe that happy kids make happy parents. That’s why we’ve poured our hearts (and quite a bit of effort) into creating a summer biking experience you won’t find anywhere else in Scandinavia.

Gullia – Biking fun for everyone

Gullia is part of Trysil Trail Park and a magical place for riders of all ages. With more than 30 kilometres of trails graded from green (perfect for beginners) to double black (expert level only), this forest area offers both playful riding and serious challenges. The double black trails are designed exclusively for highly experienced riders and should only be attempted by those with the necessary skills and experience.

Green Fox, Happy Rabbit, Lucky Ducky and Sneaky Snake are all green trails that are perfect for the little ones. For the slightly older children, the blue trails Papa Bear, Sweet Dreams and Rock n' Roll quickly become favorites.

For the more experienced, red trails such as Miss Piggy, French Moustache, Redneck and Rodeo turn up the adrenaline on the trail.

At expert level, the black trail Cave Man and the double black trail B-Rage await.

B-Rage is an extreme trail with 20 big jumps, drops and demanding elements. Only for very experienced cyclists with full equipment.

Lift-based biking for the adrenaline rush

At the top of the Fjellekspressen lift, a biking experience awaits you:  20 kilometres of biking trails, graded from blue to black, give you a real dose of adrenaline. Magic Moose, Flow Star and Twister are not only cool names, they're also a taste of trails you don't want to miss. Just remember that these aren't trails that are suitable for absolutely everyone. A good test is to ride Sweet Dreams in Gullia first. If you love it, lift-based cycling might be your next step.

To bike the lift-based trails in Trysil Bike Park, you need the Medium or Large TrysilPass. Read more about the TrysilPass here.

If you bring smaller children to Trysil, you will of course find lift-based cycling for them as well. In the Adventure Park, the youngest children are pulled up the hill on their bikes and can whizz down on kind, fun bike paths. There you will also find many other exciting activities, but that is a completely different adventure.

Mountain biking at its best

Take your biking experience to new heights on Fjellrunden, a 13-kilometre gravel biking and hiking trail around Trysilfjellet. For those looking for a bit of extra flow and challenge, Fjellflyten down to Trysil Høyfjellssenter is a real treat. At Høyfjellssenteret, you’ll find several places to eat lunch, as well as a dedicated bike park with jumps and drops. For a different experience, we also recommend renting an e-bike for your ride around the mountain.
