SkiStar Trysil is investing in the skiing experience and will have a new, state-of-the-art gondola next winter. The Trysil gondola will be 2,406 meters long and have a capacity of 3,000 guests per hour. It will be ready to transport guests from the children's area Eventyr up the mountain as early as season 25/26.

Environmentally conscious Restauranthuset Fageråsen

Helen and Martin Sturmhoefel run Restauranthuset Fageråsen together with Adam Berglund. The restaurants consist of Fjellroa, Kafé Kasserolle, Restaurant Pilegrimen and Spiseriet. The couple ended up in Trysil five years ago, and are enjoying themselves. Together with their daughters, they work for a greener operation of their eateries in Fageråsen.

In Trysil you can participate in several cross-country races during the winter. The largest is the Trysil Ski Marathon, which has seeding for both Vasaloppet and Birkebeinerrennet.
