• Kindling: Learn how to find the right type of kindling wood and make a cosy fire pit.
• Camping skills: Get tips on how to create a comfortable place to stay with the help of nature.
• Navigation knowledge: Choose a hiking route and get an introduction to the use of a map and compass.

Practical information

• We arrange attendance by phone, email or SMS and choose an area that suits you and yours.  A trip takes about 4 hours, and requires no prior knowledge - you just have to be open to experience the hidden life and excitement of the forest.
• Trysil Safari: Price per adult NOK 600, children DKK 300.  Pay by credit card or cash at the meeting point.
• The price includes guiding, light lunch and something good to drink. Transportation is not included in the price.
• Equipment/clothing: Good shoes for hiking use, sensible outdoor clothes adapted to the weather.  Daypack with extra food and drinks. A suitable knife, mosquito repellent and plasters are nice to have in your backpack.

Nature experiences are never guaranteed

Although we try to recommend some periods, we cannot guarantee that you will experience what you have come for, such as the Northern Lights, animals since our success rate depends on nature.

We therefore ask you to take into account any changes from the itinerary. If we are unable to provide a certain service due to an unforeseen situation, you will be offered a similar service.

Outdoor activities are also weather dependent. If we are forced to cancel an activity due to extreme weather conditions, an alternative activity suitable for the current conditions will be provided. Please note that changes may occur at short notice.
