Community center for rent in Vestby

The community center in Vestby can be rented out to groups with overnight stays or for large social events. The price for accommodation is NOK 150 per person per day for groups from 16 people and up. For smaller groups, the price is NOK 2500 per day for the Community House. We can recommend the Mission House for smaller groups. In the Mission House there is a large and a small hall that can be used for accommodation or dining. There is a small kitchen there and 2 toilets and a shower downstairs. In both the Community House and the Mission House, there are foam rubber mattresses to sleep on. The price for cleaning is NOK 2000 for the Community House and NOK 1000 for the Mission House. The Mission House has broadband.

There is the possibility of groups of 50-60 people. There can also be larger groups, as you can use the Mission House  (located about  100 meters away from the Community House). Groups we have usually let the girls and boys sleep in separate houses.

The community center has 4 showers in one and the same room, 1 room with 2 sinks, 2 changing rooms, toilet room with 3 toilets and sink, toilet room with 2 toilets and 2 sinks, handicap toilet, "kindergarten room" in the basement that can be used as a dormitory, a large hall upstairs that can either be used for accommodation or dining and socializing, - here there is a stage where there is a piano, a "school room" for either accommodation or dining, one kitchen fully equipped (tableware for 90 people) with 2 stoves and dishwasher as well as a separate cold room and its own freezer. 

In recent years, we have put a new roof on the building, painted the exterior, built a handicap toilet, renovated the kitchen and painted the hallway. 

Vestby is a very cozy little hamlet, with a short distance to the Trysil mountain. Vestby also has a very nice location in the summer. Behind the community center, the trail starts that takes you up to Ulvsjøberget, which is one of the summit hikes in Trysil. There is a great view both to Trysilfjellet and all the way to Rondane on clear days. In Vestby we also have 2 beautiful lakes, - Ulvsjøen and Nordresjøen that are connected. At the southern end of Ulvsjøen is the bathing area with a kiosk where you can rent a boat/canoe/pedal boat.
