Trysilmila – a trail race for everyone in varied terrain!
The course runs through varied and beautiful terrain.
The start and finish are at Østby stadium near Østby Community Center.
The route largely follows the Trysil Skimaraton course close to Østby. The surface is varied, consisting of gravel (about 3.5 km), trails and forest roads (about 6.5 km), as well as some asphalt (about 200 meters) on the 10 km route.
There are drink stations at 3.8 km and 7 km on the long route (10 km), and at 3.5 km on the short route (6.5 km). There are many spectator points along the entire course.
Course map and trail profile

The first 1.5 km are on gravel in the lighted trail, then comes the trail section from 1.5-7 km which largely follows the Trysil Ski Marathon trail backwards. From 7-8 km, the trail follows a gravel road, followed by a small asphalt section of approx. 200 m in Villavegen at Østby and a little path, before the last km follows the floodlit trail again to the finish.
The short round of 6.5 km largely take the courses of 10 km, but with a shorter lap in the terrain section.
The trail is marked all summer with signs, but is extra well-marked with signs, ribbons and guards on the day of the race itself.
