Plassen church is a long church in Søre Trysil, Trysil municipality. The first church was consecrated by Bishop Halvor Folkestad on 27 August 1879. An octagonal church in timber. Designed by architect Jacob Wilhelm Nordan, considered one of Norway's most prolific church builders.
On July 2, 1904, the church was struck by lightning and the church burned to the ground. It didn't take long before people were in the process of rebuilding the church, which was ready 3 years later. Drawn from sheets. Victor Nordan.
