Fishing in Rivers and Mountain Lakes 

We visit hidden rivers and remote lakes away from the crowds – places rich in wildlife, tranquillity and exciting fishing opportunities.

Our fishing experiences are designed for both beginners and experienced anglers. We mainly use simple and enjoyable fishing methods such as float fishing and spinning rods, making it easy for everyone to participate. Instruction and necessary equipment are included, allowing you to relax and enjoy the thrill of fishing in true Nordic wilderness surroundings.

Hiking in Forests and Mountains

Step beyond the ordinary trails and discover untouched landscapes around Trysil. We explore forests, wetlands, hills and mountain terrain where silence, fresh air and beautiful scenery become part of the adventure. Routes and pace are adapted to the group, making the experience enjoyable for all ages and fitness levels.

Bushcraft & Survival Skills

Learn practical outdoor skills inspired by traditional Nordic wilderness living. Together we make campfires, build simple tools, learn useful survival techniques and discover how people have used nature’s resources for generations. A fun, educational and hands-on experience for both adults and children.

Wildlife & Nature discovery

Use all your senses to explore the wilderness around you. We search for animal tracks, listen to forest sounds and learn more about the wildlife living in the Trysil region. Along the way, we may photograph, draw or collect small natural treasures from the forest.

Nature Photography

Sometimes the best experiences happen when moving slowly – or sitting completely still. Together we search for beautiful landscapes, wildlife and magical light conditions that create fantastic photo opportunities. Whether you are a beginner or photography enthusiast, nature around Trysil offers endless inspiration.

Tailored to you 

Even if you choose one main activity, several of the other experiences will naturally become part of the tour, creating a varied and authentic wilderness adventure. You can also choose the physical level that suits you and your group best.

Level 1 – Easy Adventure
Comfortable walks and accessible terrain without major physical challenges. Suitable for families and groups with different needs.

Level 2 – Active Adventure
More varied terrain with moderate physical challenges and a wider range of outdoor experiences.

Level 3 – True Wilderness 
For those seeking a more demanding adventure with steeper terrain, tougher trails and greater physical challenges.

How does it work? 

When you contact us by email or phone, we will help you choose the activities and level that best suit you and your group. Together we decide on the date, starting time and meeting point. Maps and practical information will be sent to you before the tour. All meeting points have parking available. Minimum booking: 4 participants.

• Duration: Approximately 4 hours
• Price: NOK 700 adults / NOK 400 children under 12 years
• Season: Approximately May 30th – October 30th

• Fishing licence in Trysil (for guests over 16 years old)

Payment can be made by card or cash at the meeting point

Transport

• Transportation is not included, but we are happy to assist with booking Trysil Taxi if needed.

Nature and weather are part of the adventure, and wildlife or natural experiences can never be fully guaranteed. Weather conditions, wildlife sightings and natural phenomena vary from day to day. If extreme weather or unforeseen situations occur, the program may need adjustments. In such cases, we will always aim to offer a similar experience whenever possible.
