1. The best skiing
Trysil has a good selection of varied slopes divided into four ski areas. From long, wide and challenging carving slopes in Høgegga, to kind, fun and varied cruising slopes at Turistsenteret and Høyfjellssenteret. At Skihytta there is a slower pace and both red slopes and a cozy children's area. No Norwegian resort can match the breadth of Trysil's fantastic ski offer. With 71 slopes and 41 lifts, there's skiing to suit everyone.
Park enthusiasts will find jumps, rails and boxes in the SkiStar Snow Park.

2. Large children's areas
Trysil has always invested a little extra in families with children and has put in a lot of work and love in the children's areas
Trysil is one of Scandinavia's most family-friendly ski resorts. Here you will find three children's areas with easy lifts and carpet lifts, nice slopes with lots of fun elements the children like, and not least there is easy access, toilets, barbecue house, dining and heated rooms.
Trysil has always invested a little extra in families with children and has put a lot of work and love into the children's areas. For the little ones, there are ski activities with the popular Valle in the children's areas almost every day. Valle is the snowman all the children love and want to meet when they are out skiing.

3. World-class accommodation
Living well is part of the skiing experience. Trysil has a wide range of modern cabins, apartments and hotels, and almost all accommodation has ski in and ski out. Right on the slopes, you can stay at two of Norway's best ski hotels - Radisson Blu Resort Trysil on the south side, and SkiStar Lodge on the north side of the mountain. At Trysilfjell you can, for example, stay at the beautiful Trysil Alpine Lodge, right by the slopes at the Tourist Center.
In our pleasant town center you also live well, here there are both hotels and camping. Explore the shops, enjoy a café or gallery, and feel free to end the day with dinner at one of the eateries.
The ski bus runs regularly and transports both you and your skis straight to the slopes.

4. Magical experiences
Trysil offers several activities without skis on your feet, and adapted experiences for the whole family. Dog sledding and sleigh rides are great experiences for the whole family. Another tip is snowshoeing with a guide, and if you are really lucky, you will see the Northern Lights on the trip. If you want to try something truly exotic, we can recommend alpaca hiking or ice bathing in the Trysil river with a sauna afterwards.
For those who enjoy cross-country skiing best, there are enormous opportunities. In and around Trysilfjellet there is a large trail network with opportunities for both short and long trips.

Fulufjellet Alpine Center is a family-friendly facility in Ljørdalen, with 2 ski lifts and 9 slopes in all levels of difficulty. Here you will also find the popular toboggan run Gira, which is 1600 meters long and one of Norway's longest.
