Ski resorts

On skistar.com , the information about open lifts and slopes is updated continuously. 

Experience skiing after dark with night skiing on Wednesdays and Fridays until 20:00, a perfect way to end the day. Night skiing starts on 19 December.

Also in Fulufjellet Alpine Center in Ljørdalen, you and your family can enjoy nice slopes on skis or test Norway's longest toboggan run.

Cross-country skiing

Trysil offers great cross-country trails, on this page you can see which trails are open. To get a live update on prep status, you can download Sporet, which costs NOK 149 per year.  

Christmas activities with Valle 

Valle is the children's favorite! The popular snowman comes to visit throughout Christmas and creates extra joy and entertainment for the children.

Eating out? 

After an active day in the snow, it's extra nice to sit down at the table and let someone else take care of the food. At Trysil's eateries, you can enjoy your Christmas meal without stress and just enjoy yourself with family and friends.

Indoor activities 

Swimming and bowling are two highlights for the whole family. At the Radisson Blu Resort, you'll find Surfer's Bay, a family-friendly bathroom with multiple pools, hot tubs, sauna, water streams, and a climbing wall. Here you will also find the FlowRider® - perfect if you want to try surfing indoors. Or you can challenge the family on state-of-the-art bowling alleys. 

SkiStar Lodge's Kulpen SPA includes saunas, a whirlpool, a gym and an indoor pool.

NEW: Golf simulator 

At Trysilfjellet Arena you will find a self-service simulator room with 1 Trackman golf simulator. This is available to everyone between 5 am and 12 pm every day.

Goods delivery to the cabin? 

Christmas can be enjoyed in many ways - did you know that you can easily order Christmas food at both Trysilfjellet Handel and Coop Mega? Save time and enjoy yourself at home with good food, with all ingredients delivered to your door. 

Coop Mega mainly delivers to Trysilfjellet and Fageråsen. Order the goods by e-mail to yngve.blakstad@coop.no with the item list, delivery address, date, time and contact information. Payment is made by bank terminal upon delivery. To ensure that all items are available, ordering is recommended at least one week before delivery. Delivery takes place every day except Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Trysilfjellet Handel is open every day during Christmas, including 1st Christmas Day and 1st New Year's Day (10–17). Order food by e-mail to trysilfjellethandel@gmail.com no later than 22 December 2025, and special food no later than 17 December. The store offers its own breakfast and dinner packages (Tacos, Pizza, Pasta), and delivers the goods to the door within opening hours.
