Finally, it is ready for the season opening in Trysilfjellet - Friday 28 November at 9.00 you can take the first turns of winter. And as if that is not enough, the weekend offers Christmas markets, Christmas street opening, good cross-country skiing conditions and even more open eateries.

The turns of the season
Friday 28 November at 9.00 am is the final season opening in Trysilfjellet! There are slopes 13, 15 and the children's area Eventyr that are ready for the start of the season. In Eventyr, the lift will run, in addition to the T2 Fjellekspressen.

Good conditions at Trysilfjellet Arena
The cross-country skiing season in Trysil is already well underway, and after the latest snowfall, very good conditions are reported.
Remember to buy a training badge to use the arena now in the early snow period, it can be purchased at one of these places or at skistar.com:

Get into the Christmas spirit this weekend
Christmas street opening and Christmas market in the center of Trysil
True to tradition, the stage is set for both the Christmas street opening and the Christmas market in the center of Trysil this weekend. The Christmas tree will be lit on Friday 28 November, with a torchlight procession from Kiwi on the west side at 17.30. Torches can be bought from 5 pm.
In Løkjavegen, there will be a Christmas market on Friday and Saturday, with stalls, Christmas music and good offers in the shops.

Open restaurants
This weekend, even more eateries will open their doors when the season opens. Laaven, La Pasteria, Barbacoa, Ski Pub'n, and Happy Faces, TASTE and Peppes are among the restaurants at the Tourist Center that welcome you into the warmth. A well-deserved lunch break after the first turns of the season, or a better dinner after the end of the ski day.
In the city center, you can combine a visit to a café or restaurant with a visit to the Christmas market in Løkjavegen, and maybe do some of the Christmas gift shopping? At Glunot, Løkja, Fru Skjæraasen and Parken Bistro & Bar, everything is in place for a tasty pre-Christmas moment.
At Høyfjellssenteret, Nero Fjellbistro is open from 12-20.

"Christmas in the house"
Nordre Trysil Sports Club, the Day Centre and Jordet Community Centre arrange their joint Christmas event "Christmas in the House" in Jordet Community Centre on the first Sunday of Advent - 30 November at 12-16.
Stalls and stands, raffle sales and annual races with great prizes, coffee, cake and dinner sales between 13-16.
