WELCOME TO SØRE OSEN!

The 3-mile long Osensjøen is located in both Åmot and Trysil municipalities. The southern part of the lake, which is located in Trysil municipality, makes up Søre Osen. About 300 permanent residents and an ever-growing cabin development that we are happy about is taking place. We have wholeheartedly committed to using the idyll that the sea provides, and built up a nice swimming area with large green areas. Children's play equipment and sanitary facilities adapted for the disabled. Boat discharge and dock, where it is also possible for the tugboat MS Trysilknut to dock. The last thing that has been completed is a marina with room for about 20 boats.

Sammarstreff 

Every year in week 29, we arrange Sammarstreffet in Søre Osen.

Summer orienteering

Get to know Søre Osen better. UTÅKUT puts out posts in four different areas as soon as the snow is gone. The posts are easily accessible, so this is suitable for everyone. Everyone who cuts 1 or more items is entered into the draw for gift cards. A package with a map and clipping booklet can be purchased at Coop Market in Søre Osen. Price is kr. 100,- per package.

Søre Osen winter

During the winter months, there are well-groomed hiking trails in the area, which are kept in order by Søre Osen Sports Club, via a collaboration with Elverum Turforening and a significant volunteer work by permanent residents.

Ski orienteering

UTÅKUT provides ski orienteering in Søre Osen. Posts are placed in four different areas, and maps + clipping booklets can be purchased for NOK. 100,- at the store (Coop Marked Søre Osen).

Cabin in Søre Osen

The Village Committee maintains a close dialogue with the cabin owners' associations that are in the area. An important and very nice resource!
