It is easy to reach Trysil by car from Oslo. The distance from Oslo to Elverum, 142 km, is on modern and high-standard roads. The last 70 km, from Elverum to Trysil, is a drive through forest landscape. The road is always well-plowed, and soon you see the Trysil mountain ahead of you. Your goal.
In Trysil, most of the cabins, apartments and hotels are located in ski in & ski out distance to the ski resort. Regular ski buses travel around the mountain and to Trysil town centre. With a valid ski pass, you travel the ski bus for free.
