Tørberget church is centrally located in the village of Tørberget, close to highway 25 towards Elverum.
Tørberget church is a small and relatively simple wooden long church with a ridged roof over the main entrance. The church was built in 1933 according to drawings from the National Building Inspectorate.
The church is exterior and interior paneled. The church room has unpainted panelled walls and several fixtures from the 1600s and 1700s, which come from Trysil church and Elverum church. Several of the fixtures were completed by woodcarver Peter Galaasen and church painter Ola Seter in 1933.
In front of the choir opening, a balustrade and two obelisks were set up at an angle. Frederick V's royal monograms were replaced with the monograms of the Crown Prince couple Olav and Märtha, who were present at the inauguration. The pulpit with pulpit ceiling is probably from the mid-1600s, also they were rebuilt and retouched in 1933.
The altarpiece is richly decorated with sculptures, columns and picture panels on two floors with a top piece. The main field probably lacks a crucifix, on the second floor is the resurrection and at the top Jesus for the high priest. The tablet was painted over in 1752. The baptismal font is a small angel with a basin on his head that stands under a baptismal font ceiling. Above the choir opening, a trumpet angel floats. Both figures are probably from the 1700s.
