About Vyrk 

Vyrk is an industrial company that stains and paints panels and moldings for walls and ceilings, before installation. In December 2018, Vyrk acquired Trysil Interiørtre. Trysil Interiørtre has over 60 years of experience, and began its business as a chipboard factory. Today, the company is one of Norway's leading manufacturers of veneered boards and slatted elements that meet most requirements in fire and acoustics.

Veneered Boards

Vyrk supplies custom-made boards with the desired quality, where veneer and surface action are our specialty. More than 98% of the content of the boards is natural elements such as plaster and wood, which makes the boards environmentally friendly. Veneered panels form the entirety of a room, providing a distinctive character that inspires. Clean lines and modern design are almost a piece of furniture in themselves, while the panels control the acoustics in the room. The veneered panels can be fire-impregnated to prevent flame spread and toxic smoke.

Game Elements

In recent years, Vyrk has developed a simple and cost-effective system for prefabricating slatted elements, both for walls and ceilings. The slatted elements are made according to the customer's wishes, and can be delivered in most types of wood. The elements can also be delivered clear-lacquered, stained, oiled or painted, with a complete mounting system. Through the right surface treatment, the slatted elements can meet the requirements of B-s1,d0 according to NS-EN 13501-1.

Vyrk Antibrann

In most large buildings, the regulations require that interior cladding must be made of non-flammable material with a surface that does not contribute to the spread of flame. Vyrk Antibrann is a separate product with fire technical and acoustic properties, and can be veneered with all types of wood. Vyrk Antibrann is Norway's only precious wood veneered board that satisfies fire class K10-B-s1, D0 according to NS 3919. The product is available in several different perforation and slit patterns, and with or without a cover.

Pre-finished panel and moldings

Vyrk also has a production facility in Valdres where we can industrially process all types of panels for houses, cabins and other buildings. Vyrk breaks and mixes all color combinations itself and allows you to choose from 5000 optional colors in stain and paint. By having the panel already treated before installation, you will be able to save time and money, as well as get a better result!
