Here you can enjoy a three-course dinner in the company of a good wine. Our skilled chefs use classic Nordic ingredients and prepare them into modern delicious dishes. These are served in our cozy restaurant in the company of good drinks, a crackling fire in the fireplace and the lifts right outside.

Every Friday, treat yourself to an exceptional dining experience. Enjoy a carefully curated four-course dinner, personally selected by our chef to surprise and delight your senses.

Winter dining experience with pickup by snowmobile & sled.

Selected Thursdays Jan 15, 22, 29 & Feb 5
Enjoy an elegant three-course nice dining menu with your choice of starter, main course and dessert.

Begin the evening with pickup by snowmobile and sleigh outside SkiStar Lodge, followed by a refined dinner in a magical winter setting.
(Return transport not included.)

Reindeer & Vendace roe kr 255
Pilegrimen’s take on “Pelle Jansson”. Reindeer carpaccio served with vendace roe, 65-degree egg yolk, grated Västerbotten cheese, browned butter, dill, lingonberries, horseradishcream, and potato crisp.

Scallops & Broccoli kr 235
Butter-seared scallops served with roasted garlic cream, cucumber, and pickled broccoli. Topped with crispy leek, dill, cauliflower cream, and broccoli crudité.

Seaweed caviar & Västerbotten cheese kr 215
Västerbotten cheese rösti served with lemon smetana, red and black seaweed caviar, browned butter, and shiso cress. Topped with crispy kale and Norwegian Bufar cheese.

Mains

Catfish & Shellfish kr 395
Butter-baked catfish served with roasted cabbage salad, a shellfish velouté, potato croquettes flavored with browned butter, parsley oil, and rice crisp. Finished with dill powder and cress                                                                                                 

Duck & Chantarelle kr 425
Confit duck leg served with Västerbotten cheese rösti, an orange and demi-glace reduction, butter-fried chanterelles, confit carrot cream, chanterelle crisp, and chanterelle powder.

Reindeer & Parsnip kr 455
Slow cooked venison sirloin served with variations of parsnip, potato cake, and baked carrot, topped with chicken liver butter, smoked reindeer, and red wine sauce

Gnocchi & Nuts kr 390
Homemade gnocchi served with enoki mushrooms, browned hazelnut butter, roasted cashews and basil cream, baked Marcona almonds, and crispy kale. Topped with Norwegian Holtefjell cheese and sage.

Pistachio ice cream served with poached pear and vanilla yogurt cream, topped with caramelized pistachios and oat crisp.

Sea buckthorn & Brown Butter kr 215
Mousse made from sea buckthorn served with brown butter ice cream, caramelized pecan nuts, and filo pastry crisp.

Mascarpone and chocolate cremeux served with hazelnut ganache, Frangelico-marinated biscuit, chocolate crisp, and red velvet powder.

Sustainability

The eatery is certified with Eco-Lighthouse and we include all employees in the sustainability work and we include sustainability when we make decisions. We focus our sustainability work on four main areas: saving energy, reducing waste, sourcing good products and influencing all our stakeholders (guests, employees, suppliers and partners). For example  , we only use green electricity, we reduce disposable materials, we serve dishes of different sizes, reduce the proportion of beef, offer more vegetarian dishes and one dish is labelled "most climate friendly dish"
