    Hiking trail 55 - Kampflåhøgda

    Please note that you will need NOK 80 to pay tolls. The path runs from here all the way to the top. It follows the Eltåa River to its source at Vesle-Elttjønna and then rises gently towards the peak.

    The last 500 metres are across scree. At the top stands a large stone mound, from which there is a magnificent view in all directions! You can see Rondane, Sølen, Tverrfjellet and of course Trysilfjellet mountain.

    It is not unusual to spot reindeer on this trip. Because the path can be soft and wet for the first 300 metres, we recommend that you wear hiking boots. In addition, the weather on the mountain can change quickly, so bear this in mind when choosing your clothes for the day.

    Drive north on fv 26, turn left towards Rena, follow the signs and turn right at Trysil Knuts Fjellverden. Continue on the dirt road. On toll road, pay NOK 50 (cash) and kontinue driving another 7 km. 45 min drive from Trysil town centre.
