    Hiking trail 51 - Kolodalen

    Beautiful heritage trail in Kolosjøen Natural Park, with old bloomery furnaces, lumberjack huts and the oldest logging dam in Trysil’s secondary watercourses.

    The route crosses marshes in a serene landscape and runs along the beautiful Kolosjøen Lake, where you can access one of the islands by means of a raft.

    When you reach the raft you turn and take the same way back. Waterproof boots or hiking boots are recommended as part of the path runs across wet marshes.

    Drive south towards Nybergsund, turn left in the roundabout. Follow fv 26 towards Østby 5,8 km. Follow the signs from intersections. Park by the road barrier.
