Hiking trail 28 - Støta
This easy and well signposted hike passes through the Bittermarka mountain area.
Støtfjellet mountain has three peaks, known locally as “Støta”. At 1014 masl, “Midtre Støta” is Bittermarka’s highest peak. The summit hike goes to “Synste Støta” at 1009 masl. The hike brings you up over the tree line on a marked trail. From the summit, you can see Sweden to the east, the Sølenfjell mountains to the north and Rondane to the west.
Getting there
Drive through Flendalen to the mountain region Bittermarka, drive along the lake Mjølsjøen and take a right by the big rock and follow this road to end. 40 min. drive from Trysil Tourist Information.
