Employees at Destination Trysil
Helge Bonden, General Manager
I am passionate about Trysil both as a destination and a local community, and feel like a Trysling even though I was not born and raised here. In 2000, I moved to Trysil, and from 2005 to 2021 I worked at Skistar, among other things, as general manager for 10 years. During this period, I was also a board member of Destination Trysil for many years, and have participated in the good collaboration that has developed Trysil into Norway's largest alpine and trail cycling destination.
Since 2018, I have also been chairman of the board of the industry association Norwegian Ski Resorts and Mountain Destinations, and through that, among other things, worked to improve framework conditions with the authorities for the industry in particular and tourism in general.
Collaboration has been Trysil's trademark and competitive advantage for over 50 years. We must take care of this and ensure that we develop it further. It is at least as important now and in the future to strengthen the community to make Trysil even better for visitors, cabin owners and us who live here. Destination Trysil will be a driving force in the work to make Trysil even better for everyone - that is my biggest motivation in the role as general manager of Destination Trysil.
In my spare time, I use the trails in Trysil both summer and winter, and try to take advantage of all the other great offers we have here as often as I can.

Camilla Hartviksen Sætre, Project Manager
I consider myself a true trysling, raised in Innbygda and living in Nybergsund. A life of travel was my great passion for a long time, and the interest in the subject has been with me since I was a teenager - the course for my career was set on a charter bus in Gran Canaria in the early 90s. The curiosity and interest in the subject ended up with a Bachelor in Tourism at Lillehammer in 2003, as well as studies in marketing and internationalization at Rena and in Perth, Australia. I have gained work experience through 20 years in the tourism industry in Trysil, where I have been able to develop in project management, marketing and communication.
I enjoy hiking in the mountains on foot or skiing, but my free time is often spent as a supporter on both the football and handball fields or jogging in the local area. Being part of the development of Trysil as a destination is exciting and interesting, and I look forward to working together with all players in Trysil and together continuing the development of the village my heart is passionate about.

Bente Nysæter, Communications Manager
I grew up in a small hamlet with a great sense of community – we are of course talking about Jordet in Nordre Trysil. After completing his bachelor's degree in tourism at HiL in 2003, he has spent more than 20 years in the tourism industry in Trysil. And what a journey it has been!
I have gained extensive experience in digital marketing, with operation and development of trysil.com and CRM as my main areas. I have a sincere wish that as many people as possible will be able to take part in the good life in Trysil. Spreading the playful Trysil message makes me happy!
In his spare time, the Trysil heart beats extra for walks on nice pine needle trails, on wonderful cross-country trails or as a cheerleader on the football field. Hello Nordre!

Jonas Sjögren, Content Manager
I came to Trysil in December 2008 to work at Radisson Blu Resort Trysil, which opened on December 15th. It was the first time I visited Trysil, but I grew up in Hagfors, Värmland, which is only 20 miles away. I applied to Trysil because a bowling alley was to be opened at the hotel, and at that time I was a professional bowling player and had traveled around Europe. When I got the opportunity to work with this, the choice was easy. Like many others, I start as a seasonal worker, but in 2015 I was offered a year-round job as responsible for bowling and pool. At the same time, my interest in photography and film awoke. I started freelancing as a side project and as a result, my interest in content production on social media increased significantly.
In 2020, I was offered to work full-time at Destination Trysil creating content for all digital channels. It was and really is my dream job. Imagine being able to work with what I love. It has been an incredibly exciting and educational journey to where we are today.
In my spare time, I spend most of my time on one of the activities offered in Trysil - and usually meet on a bike, on the golf course or on a summit trip to the mountains, usually with my camera ready. I am passionate about conveying the good stories in Trysil through photography and film. Being able to work with my hobby is simply my dream job.
